There are very few one-day events within reasonable range of our club’s territory so the Border Counties Riding Club’s qualifier for the AIRC National Horse Trials Championship — a comparatively short drive away in Monaghan — always proves popular with our members. The schedule has now been published and entries close on Friday 29 JuneContinue reading “Entries open for Border Counties ODE qualifier”

Congratulations Gaeltachts – what an achievement
With the Relay For Life attracting our attention and some of our usual suspects keeping a low profile in 2012, our club sat out the western region’s Team Show Jumping Qualifier which took place on Sunday in Knock. But Donegal was ably represented by a team from the Donegal Gaeltachts. Following a brilliant effort byContinue reading “Congratulations Gaeltachts – what an achievement”

Fairytale Flowerhill

Six Donegal Gaeltacht riders made the journey to Tullamore for the AIRC National Horse Trial Championships this past weekend. Luckily the weather was a bit better in the Midlands than in Donegal and the event went ahead, unhindered by the elements. Read how they all got on on the Donegal Gaeltacht website. Well done everybody. You canContinue reading “Gaeltachts enjoy Annaharvey experience”
