Sorry website has been very quite lately, though members and non members can stay in touch with events through our Facebook page.

Sunday 23rd July saw the start of this years two-phase with Inishowen RC  kicking off with a well organised and smooth run day, Great job guys! The weather was fabulous and the craic mighty.

Well done to all who took part and thank you to all those who helped out. No one seemed to mind being a jump steward as they worked on their horse rider tans.

Special congratulations to our members who take part …. Shauna, Cormac, Dawn, Keeri Ann, Francis, Marina Cliff and Suzanne.  A particularly mention to Dawn who managed to pip Francis to 1st place. Francis and Bonzo were leading after the dressage with Dawn and Colorado Kid just 2 points behind. Both went clear in the cross-country but Bonzo incurred a few time faults which left the door open for Dawn to take first place, with Francis a close second. Congratulations to Marina who came 6th. Also congratulations to Kerri Ann who completed her first cross-country and who I think we will be seeing again at the next event.

So August is quiet month which leaves plenty of time to get practising dressage and cross-country in time for the next leg of the phase. Which will be on the 3rd of September at Charlie and Mona’s. If any one wants to organise lessons or hacks out then please feel free and then spread the word.  Of course there is the Dublin Horse Show in the mean time too.

Oh and of course there is also a very special event in August…. A wedding in the club! We all wish Tanya and Mark a very happy wedding day on the 25th August and a long and happy marriage.

For all those who fancy practising here is the list of  dressage tests for the 3rd September
