Sorry, slightly behind with league and other news, here is a brief summary of the success of our club members, who have everything to play for in the final!
So congratulations to ….
Liz Cuffe in the advanced primary class who was placed fifth in the third leg of the league and who won this Sunday, this puts Liz at the top of the leader board in the advanced primary class.
In the intermediate class Cliff came second in the third leg of the league and again is in a good position for the final despite not being able to make this Sundays league. Pauric came third this week which has also put him in a good position for a placing. The third leg of the league also saw new member Kieran Sharkey, who has moved from pony club, gain third place in the intermediate class and we welcome him and hope he enjoys being part of Letterkenny riding club.
The advanced intermediate class saw top position being taken by Nadine in the third leg and second place by Cormac. They both managed to get placed again this week with Nadine coming fifth and Cormac second. This puts Cormac at the top of the leader board in the intermediate class but he can’t afford to be to complacent as there are a few fellow riders nipping at his heel! Shauna looks in a great position take the crown in the open.
So this makes for a great final of the spring league and we wish everyone from all clubs good luck.
All clubs are helping to run the final so please be prepared to lend a hand if and when you are not riding. Look forward to seeing you all there for what looks to be like a real tight and exciting race to the finish. With double points for all those who attended three shows out the five there should be some nail-biting rounds. So even if you are unable to ride it certainly will be worth coming along just to cheer on your club members.
