This coming Friday, 7 June, sees Leo lead an expedition from his homeplace in the shadows of Grianán of Aileach. It’s a beautiful area of the county and the views on the climb up to the fort are spectacular. From the monument itself its possible to see for an eternity. With this remarkable spell of summer weather promising to last, this seems like a date to be written firmly in your diary.
Contact Leo on 086 853 2609 in advance if you plan to ride. There’s parking for everybody but it takes a bit of juggling so give Leo plenty of notice.
