The timing of Benbulben’s Spring Show this year should suit everybody who has been competing at the North West League. The show takes place on Sunday 3 April, exactly a week after our league final so horses and riders should be finely tuned. The event always has a large attendance on account of its location bang in the centre of the Western region.
The schedule has been published today and it includes the welcome (?!!) sight of dressage tests for the the first time in our 2011 calendar. Note that dressage entries should be made by Thursday 31 March to allow the organisers to plan things. AIRC dressage tests are available on line from the AIRC website and all others are available from Orla.
In an interesting departure from the norm, the Intermediate & Above novelty class will take place between the individual Intermediate and Advanced Intermediate classes. This will certainly suit the Intermediate contingent and will hopefully be equally successful as a warm-up for the AIs and Opens.
