Our over-sized club treasurer Sharon Lee was spotted today on cheque book duty with assistant treasurer, Rachel. The pair were taking measures to ensure that things run smoothly during Sharon’s imminent maternity leave. The Bump is VERY big and Sharon is due any day now. So far things have been going well and we wish her and John the very best of luck in the final countdown.
Would anybody like to open a book on how long it will take Sharon to get back in the saddle after giving birth? We could begin by deciding whether bets should be made in weeks, days or hours…
This isn’t the only potential riding club member en route this summer. Elaine O’Sullivan and her husband Shane are expecting their first baby in August.
